Privacy Policy

What is collected. When you make an enquiry, OFFLINE collects your name, business name, email address, website or social handle, and whatever you choose to tell us about the support you need. During an engagement, OFFLINE also handles the operational information required to do the work — which may include customer correspondence, order records and financial administration data belonging to your business.

Why it is collected. Enquiry details are used only to respond to you and to scope the work. Operational information is used only to carry out the agreed scope.

How it is handled. Access to your systems is limited to what the agreed work requires. Credentials are stored in a password manager, not in plain text or email. Information is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing. It may be held in reputable business software used to deliver the work — email, accounting and document storage — each with its own security controls.

How long it is kept. Enquiry records are kept for up to twelve months if the enquiry does not proceed. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long as afterwards as is reasonably required, then deleted or returned on request.

Access to your systems after an engagement ends. Credentials are deleted and access is revoked at the end of an engagement. You are welcome to revoke access at your end as well.

Your choices. You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing offlinestudios@outlook.com. Requests are actioned within a reasonable period unless a record must be retained for legal or accounting reasons.

Confidentiality. Client information and business operations are treated confidentially as a matter of course, and a non-disclosure agreement can be signed before any access is granted.

This policy applies to OFFLINE and is written in plain language rather than legal drafting. It does not limit any rights you have under Australian privacy law.
